Blackjack Winners Cause Bad Revenue for Pennsylvania Casinos

April 28th, 2011 by OBO-admin

Pennsylvania casinos have decreased their payout rates and all signs point to the blackjack tables as being responsible for this decrease. Casinos in Pennsylvania have decreased their payout rates as compared to what they offered when they had launched in their initial years. Casino authorities are blaming the blackjack tables for this decrease in payout rate and they say blackjack card games have not been performing well at most casinos. Major casinos are operating on payout rates less than around two percent of when they had been launched.

Lower payouts means the casinos keep more of the player’s money and pay lesser amounts to the player when he or she wins. Players are assured that slot machine payouts are still the same, and that the decrease is due to the introduction of live tables for other games. This is because the electronic versions were considered as slot machines and used to pay out more due to the engineering involved in the electronic versions.

Live tables for casino games like blackjack have lower payout rates than the electronic versions of these games. Blackjack professionals usually use advanced blackjack strategy to even out the odds but most players still rely on luck to win the game.

Players are encouraged to opt for online blackjack games instead of playing at brick and mortar casinos as they are sure to get better payouts.

Blackjack Bonus Hunting Is a Lucrative Online Profession

April 20th, 2011 by OBO-admin

Blackjack bonus hunters who are skilled in the game are making a lot of money using no-deposit bonuses.

When players read about the many lucrative bonus offers that online blackjack sites offer, it is hard for them to resist signing up. Blackjack sites are well aware if this, and do their best to beef up their crowd-puller bonus – which is the deposit bonus – used to attract new players and bonus whores.

Blackjack bonus whores create an account with several online blackjack casinos and make a deposit. However, once they use the generous deposit bonuses that these casinos offer, they withdraw and leave for another new site. It has been estimated that if bonus hunting techniques and cash outs are calculated over the period of a year, players can make up to sixty thousand dollars each year with very little risk.

Blackjack online casinos are not against such player practices and are well aware that players are looking out for the bonuses. Therefore, some blackjack casinos ensure that players cannot withdraw their bonus cash out of their accounts without making a real deposit and meeting play through requirements. This forces the player to try the different games on the site and in the event of playing more games players also lose cash. Smart blackjack players are skilled at the game and look for no-deposit blackjack bonuses; eventually they take out more than they deposited

Blackjack bonus hunting, blackjack bonus bagging or blackjack bonus busting is this act of players taking advantage of the deposit bonus. There is no guarantee that this trick might always work but it is always worth a try for people who want to make easy money from online blackjack and other casino games.

Blackjack Casinos In Florida Face Opposition From Seminole Tribes

April 18th, 2011 by OBO-admin

The Seminole Indian Tribe is opposing the opening of five new mega us blackjack casinos in Florida, since this means that they will lose their stronghold in the gambling industry in Florida.

While the new legislation will be voted before summer of 2011, the Seminole Indian Tribe plans to advertise and lobby against it by heavily investing into the same.

The sovereign lands of Florida hold four blackjack casinos operated by the Seminole Tribe. In 2010 they had made an agreement with the State wherein they are allowed to host blackjack card games but no roulette games or craps at their casinos, and for these exclusive rights they paid $1 billion to the State.

If the said legislation is passed in Florida, then casinos will be required to pay $50 million per year as licensing fees, and the Seminoles will not have the exclusive rights that they now possess. This new law will alter their monopoly over the game of blackjack in the state of Florida.

Seminole Tribe spokesman said that if the state agrees to the legislation then they will have to probably give up the assured payments they receive from the Seminole Indian Tribe.

Two Florida-state senators filed this legislation, one from the Republicans, one from the Democrats.

Kazakhstan Authorities Stops Blackjack Games

April 12th, 2011 by OBO-admin

Kazakhstan has introduced a slew of new measures to deal with its illegal blackjack problem. Major General Erlan Turgumbaev, the chief of the internal affairs department, has directed the setting up of seven special teams comprising special police personnel, and precinct inspectors to identify illegal blackjack outlets.

The use of card counting strategies is common at blackjack tables in such illegal gambling establishments, which rig slots and video poker machines to ensure that very few people will win the jackpots.

Illegal blackjack games in Kazakhstan take place in houses, shopping malls, oversized trucks and bus depot basements. Since the law does not permit their existence, they disguise themselves as legitimate businesses and permit blackjack customers upon invitation only. Casino games such as slot machines, roulette tables and blackjack games are illegal in Kazakhstan.

Colonel Bakhyt Balgimbayev, the deputy chief directorate for combating organized crime, said that the teams conduct raids 24 hours of the day, in spite of which illegal blackjack flourishes. The new measures, according to him, have been introduced to uproot illegal blackjack in the country. Six illegal gambling houses with roulette and blackjack tables have already been shut down and a large amount of cash has been confiscated.

Blackjack Card Counters Want to Use Eye Controlled Notebook To Win At Casinos

March 31st, 2011 by OBO-admin

Originally developed for quadriplegics, an eye controlled laptop has become a delight amongst Blackjack card counters. Developed by China’s Lenovo Company, this laptop which can be controlled by movements of the eye will probably soon find its place on Blackjack tables since it serves as a blessing for Blackjack card counters.

The device apparently improves the player’s edge to 49.5% against the house and hence increases the player’s chances of winning. The laptop monitors eye movements, and users can control the cursor, switch between windows, zoom onto images, as well as adjust the brightness of the display by gazing at the laptop. The laptop sends infrared signals to the eyes and its inbuilt camera captures the reflection of the retina.

Based on infrared technology that monitors eye movements, developed by a Swedish company, this eye controlled laptop can help Blackjack card counters who struggle counting cards in their heads. Sadly, this technology is not allowed into gaming legally, but people are counting on the casinos to give them a fair chance once this laptop hits the stores, by allowing them to make use of the laptop legally.

Casinos have to play fair at some time or another, or people will keep coming up with ways to cheat or beat the system, and it might become legal as well.

Blackjack Players Have Screaming Match at High Stakes Blackjack Table

March 16th, 2011 by OBO-admin

Three intoxicated blackjack players, who have been nicknamed the “Angry Stooges” by the workers of a Native American Casino close to Scottsdale in Arizona, got into an ugly fight at one of the high-stakes blackjack tables of the casino.

Although the casino management knew the trio well for their ugly tempers and bad manners, they tolerated them because of their contributions to the casino profits. In their recent brawl, however, the trio was more agitated than was acceptable. A croupier later said that the yelling captured his attention and he naturally thought that the casino was either being robbed or that someone was having a heart attack. He said that the casino security hustled the three into a private high roller room, where they could argue to their heart’s content without scaring the other customers.

Reportedly, Moe, one of the three, was angry because he hadn’t been lucky with a proposition bet worth $50,000. His friend Larry, on the other hand, was highly elated because an online casino had sent him $62,000, which he had left unclaimed a long time back. The third player nicknamed “Curly” was entertaining himself by pulling Moe’s legs about the bet he had lost. This soon developed into a screaming match, forcing the casino security to intervene.
