Blackjack Players Flock to Caesars Casino to Play Swimming Pool Blackjack
July 21st, 2011 by OBO-admin
Caesars Casino concept of allowing blackjack players to sit in the pool and play blackjack at a special made blackjack table has resulted in a new influx of players to the casino.
These special “blackjack pool” games give a new meaning to the words pool table and permit players to sit on immersed seats, where the blackjack table is a raised over the water.
When sitting on the stools players will end up being chest deep or waist deep in the water – depending on their height.
The blackjack dealer stands at the edge of the pool and is on dry land, while the players are in the water. These games take place at the Caesars Palace Fortuna pool in the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis. The blackjack games in the pool are scheduled to begin daily at 8 am and go on until 8 pm. According to their rules, players are allowed to double down only on 10 and 11.
What’s more, most of the blackjack dealers at the blackjack pool tables look like models and add to the scenery. Although, these games were introduced over 2 years ago, swimming pool blackjack has only just caught on. There currently are slot machines for players looking to try their luck but who knows…maybe that will be next if the pool blackjack remains popular.

The Blackjack watch is a unique watch designed by Claret and it is intended to be a showpiece. It has been designed to attract attention just like casinos attract attention. The watch is a bit polarized in design, and yet could use a bit of refinement.
The hands of the watch are ruby lined and are seen in two colors: in a red and gold version of the onyx hands. It is the same material that has been used to make mechanical watch movements. The watch’s hands have a bright red edging and look great. Given that the intention is to attract attention the color chosen is extremely appropriate. The dial is dedicated to blackjack with the face shining in sapphire crystal and the cards being shown in windows.
Authentic dedicated accessories for the lovers of blackjack, roulette and dice have always been designed but this watch stands out from the rest of them. It is for the first time that blackjack has been incorporated into any such design.

July 12th, 2011 by OBO-admin
Blackjack can be a very addicting game and as a result most players are very cautious when they play gambling games. Congressman Anthony Weiner may not be addicted to playing blackjack but he does appear to have an affinity for blackjack dealers.
In a recent scandal that broke out, reports revealed that Congressman Anthony Weiner had used a congressional line to chat up a blackjack dealer and talk dirty with her. Anthony Weiner, who is a Democrat from New York is also well married to the beautiful and pregnant Huma Abedin, who is an aide to Hilary Clinton. Weiner’s supporters are in shock over his behavior and many want to him to resign. She reported that he had called her for the purpose of having an illicit phone conversation. “I gave him my number and he called me from his office and we proceeded to talk dirty for at least 30 minutes. A few days later, I tried to call him back on that number – there was a recorded message that it was an outgoing US Congress line only,” said Weiss.

How Card Counting Is Used At Blackjack Card Games
July 7th, 2011 by OBO-admin
Blackjack games vary based on the version being played and different online casinos host a variety of blackjack games with many betting limits and table buy-ins. Blackjack strategies also vary for the different versions of online blackjack that players come across. Another thing that varies is cheating strategies for these different versions of online blackjack games, and while other methods are often used, the one that has been made popular by the movie 21 is called card counting.
Card counting at Blackjack card games is something that top players consider easy, as long as they are fast and can calculate well, and hence some are tempted to cheat. Card Counting is an art, it can give you an edge over the dealer but it should not be misused. Nowadays, casinos specifically look for such players who perform card counting. Card counting works both ways, and hence the smallest of mistakes can destroy all the hard work that went in during the game, and hence players are advised to learn blackjack strategies and apply them, instead of trying to beat the system by cheating.
Card Counting is not technically cheating, and different casinos have different rules about the same. Also, if a player loses the count then he or she is down in the game and the losses are heavy. Players are better of using basic blackjack strategy instead of card counting if they really want to play blackjack. You are not able to count cards when playing online blackjack because cards are virtually shuffled every hand.

Blackjack Champ Discusses Minimizing Loss by Splitting Eights
July 5th, 2011 by OBO-admin
The worst thing that can happen to a player at the blackjack tables is to land up with a pair of eights. Although most blackjack experts and blackjack strategy charts advise players to split a pair of eights, it can still be the worst thing a player can do, especially if the dealer has a high-value card such as ace, ten, or nine.
One of the greatest advantages of playing online blackjack is that players can receive quick analyses of their gaming situation and hands. According to these analyses, if players get an eight pair and if the dealer has a high-value card, there is a chance of players losing slightly over 50 percent of every bet placed on that hand.
If players split their eights and double their initial wager amounts, they will be playing two hands simultaneously. This will minimize their losses to slightly below 45 percent of every bet they place. The only logic behind splitting a pair of eights, therefore, is to minimize losses, not maximize gains. Players who split their eight pairs will be losing lesser than they would if they did not split.
The golden rule of splitting is that it should be done only to maximize winnings or minimize losses.

Blackjack Player Wins $15.1 Million and Baffles Casinos
June 30th, 2011 by OBO-admin
Don Johnson is the name most blackjack casinos have now come to fear. This is because Johnson is a blackjack player who has won $15.1 million bringing down several casino houses. In fact, many casinos have now started politely refusing to let him play.
Don Johnson managed to beat three of the top casinos in Atlantic City at their blackjack tables and he says it was probably luck favoring him. Don Johnson confirmed his identity to the Atlantic Press as being the one who has been giving the casino industry a hard time for the past six months. In December at Caesars Atlantic City, Don cleared out $4.23 million, after which he moved on to win around $998,000 at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.
Later he also cashed out $1.8 million in the next four months and then won $2.25 million in April over two nights in a row. His recent record win involves that of $5.8 million in a twelve-hour spree at the Tropicana Casino and Resort in April, which made them decide to replace one of their lead casino executives.
Don Johnson’s identity was later confirmed by several casino officials and in total he has bagged $15.1 million in winnings. Don says he has had a few losses along the way and he says most people lose because they do not have the bankroll to play, and he does.
Since casinos have started refusing to allow Don Johnson to play, he says it does not disappoint him since he can always move onto horseracing, which is part of his profession.

Mysterious Blackjack Player Cleans Out Tropicana Casino for $5.8 Million
June 23rd, 2011 by OBO-admin
Atlantic City, the second largest gambling market in the United States saw a fall in its April revenues for casino gaming. The numbers are disheartening on the whole, but the worst hit was the Tropicana Casino and Resort. Surprisingly, the revenue at the Tropicana Casino did not fall because of fluctuating market prices but because of a single blackjack player who took in $5.8 million within the month of April alone.
The Tropicana Casino was apparently hit by a mysterious blackjack player who cleaned out the casino and caused a fall in the casino’s April revenue by 54% on table games and an overall fall of 20%. There is no information available on the mysterious player who won a record of $5.8 million in the month of April. Whether this amount was collected over a weekend or whether it was won over several weeks is not known.
The then chief executive officer of the casino Mark Giannantonio said that it was bad luck and confirmed these reports. Mark Giannantonio has now been fired but negates the fact that losing his job was related to the fall in the casino’s revenues last month.
Everyone would like to believe the same, and it would definitely be nice to know about this mysterious blackjack player who caused this fall.
