Twelve Injured in Blackjack Casino Construction Collapse
A blackjack casino that was under construction has collapsed at Cincinnati in Ohio. According to a news report published in Casino Gambling News, around 12 laborers were injured when the structure collapsed on them.
Reportedly, a floor bent and the workers who were on it slipped and fell down. One of them has sustained serious injuries.
This casino is being jointly constructed by Caesars Entertainment and Rock Gaming, as part of a partnership deal.
The casino, when is it completed, is expected to draw a crowd of over 6 million gambling enthusiasts. Among the casino games offered are poker, blackjack, baccarat, and other table and card games. A wide range of slot machines will also be installed in the casino.
The casino construction project, which is worth $400 million, is expected to generate 2000 employment opportunities. If everything goes as planned, the casino will be inaugurated in early 2013.
