NPEF Invites Blackjack Players to Fund Raiser Event
The annual Casino Royale, the 7th of its kind, has invited the members of the community to play blackjack, craps, roulette, and Texas Hold’em to raise funds for the development of the school district. The event is held annually as a fund raiser by the New Providence Education Foundation (NPEF), and this year.
The event will commence at New Providence Senior Citizens Centre at 7:00 p.m. and the tickets cost $50 each. The fun includes high stakes blackjack, roulette, craps, and Texas Hold’em games. Silent and live auctions with prizes such as weekly vacations packages will also form highlights of the event.
Players can also enjoy the Diamonds and Champagne session, challenging them to purchase a glass of champagne and win a fabulous ladies Michele watch. Door prizes and 50/50 raffles will also form part of that evening.
The New Providence Education Foundation organized the first Casino Royale in 2004. This event has helped the foundation provide grants worth $374k to various schools besides presenting scholarships to deserving students. Teachers, local businessmen, members of the community, parents, and others support this event.
