Buffalo Bills
History of the Buffalo Bill’s Las Vegas
Located 48 miles southwest of the Vegas Strip, right on the California/Nevada state line, Buffalo Bill’s offers a number of unique amenities including a buffalo-shaped swimming pool as well as a towering roller coaster and huge casino. The roller coaster, known as the Desperado, is one of the fastest and tallest roller coasters in the U.S. Other attractions include the Turbo Drop, an attraction which fires riders downward at 45 mph as well as The Adventure Canyon Log Flume Ride, and The Vault; a 3D simulation.
Guests interested in gaming can enjoy more than 1,700 slot machines, nearly 40 table games as well as race and sports book and live poker.
Buffalo Bill’s originally opened in 1994 with 592 rooms but quickly grew when the second tower was opened in 1995. Located on the northbound exit ramp for I-15, today Buffalo Bill’s offers a total of 1,242 well appointed guests rooms and suites.
The décor of Buffalo Bill’s pays homage to the mining boom which originally put Nevada on the map; providing a unique combination of Old West fun with Nevada style excitement. Dining options include Miss Ashley’s Boarding House Buffet, Wagonmaster Coffee Shop, Tony Roma’s and a food court.
