History of the Circus Circus Las Vegas
Circus Circus, opened in 1968, is a circus themed hotel and casino located directly on the Las Vegas Strip. The hotel comprises more than 100,000 square feet and features free circus acts that take place regularly throughout the day. Circus Circus offer 3,700 tower and manor rooms. The only RV park on the Strip is also located on the Circus Circus property, offering accommodations for an additional 399 guests.
The largest permanent big top in the world is located inside Circus Circus. Additional amenities include three swimming pools, the Chapel of the Fountain wedding chapel and The Midway, which includes games, arcades and the chance to win carnival type prizes. The Adventuredome features a 5-acre indoor theme park; the only theme park on the Strip.
Inside the hotel guests enjoy a wide array of dining options including The Garden Grill, The Pink Pony, Mexitalia X-Press, Barista Café, the Circus Bullet, The Pizzaria and The Steakhouse, which has been voted the best steakhouse in Las Vegas for 17 years consecutively.
The large casinos actually contains three different casinos with more than 80 table games and more than 2,000 slot machines along with both a sports book and race book as well as a poker room.
