History Of Caesars Palace
Caesars Palace is a Hotel and Casino located in Las Vegas, Nevada. It has 3,349 rooms split in five different towers Augustus, Centurion, Forum, Palace, and Roman. It was built in 1962 and completed in 1966 by Jay Sarno. He named the hotel Caesars Palace to have people believe like they were treated as royalty while staying at the hotel.
It is currently one of the most upscale hotel in Las Vegas and is surrounded by the Bellagio and the Mirage on the Strip. It has been constantly remodeled to keep up with the changing times and keep the hotel and casino as new as possible. There is currently a $1 billion dollar renovation of Caesars Palace that will add a new tower that is called Octavius Tower. The tower will add 665-rooms and be 263,000-square-feet.
