Nevada Casinos win with Blackjack
Forbes reports that Nevada casinos won $1.05 billion dollars from gamblers in March 2007 an .08 percent increase from 2006. This was largely due to the increase in blackjack action that was up 6.4 percent. There was also a 3.7 percent increase in all table games, while slot machines winnings were down by 2.9 percent. The total wagered by casino players in Nevada was a staggering $15 billion dollars! It looks like Nevada Casinos are doing just fine. Recently Las Vegas casinos have been reporting lower then expected earnings for their casinos. With this most recent news it looks like their slump maybe ending and the house is winning once again.
