Blackjack Most Popular at Twin River Casino

Table games, such as blackjack, that were recently launched at Twin River Casino have turned out to be very popular among the casino’s gambling customers. According to a review of state division of lottery data, conducted by WPRI-TV, Vegas style table games such as craps and blackjack, which were newly launched at Twin River Casino, generated as much as $8 in revenue between June 19 and July 31. As much as 1.4 million of this revenue went into the state coffers.

Last fall, the state approved the expansion of Twin River. As a result of this approval, Twin River, which was just a slots parlors, was transformed into a complete casino with a wide range of casino games such as video pokers, slots, and table and card games. The casino also recruited 400 employees, spent as much as $7 million renovating its facilities, and introduced 66 tables for its newly launched blackjack, craps, roulette, and baccarat games. The games were inaugurated on June 19.

Officials at Twin River Casino have confirmed that blackjack has turned out to be the most popular of all table games it offers. The gambling data collected by state agencies indicates that table games have contributed greatly to the casino’s overall revenue.
